Mickey birthday

More great birthday cupcakes - this time for Yewsong in a Mickey and Minnie Mouse theme (with apologies to the legal folk at Disney...).

Happy Birthday Yewsong!

Pirate cupcakes

Avast! Here's some piratey cupcakes we did for Toni and her son's 4th Birthday.

Rose wedding tower

Lenslady Pippa Mackenzie was kind enough to send through these photos she took of Harriet and Ruud's wedding cupcakes. Thanks Pippa!

Sweet Dreams

From time to time I like to get out of the sprinkle cupboard (or stay in it if I can pinch a laptop) and do a bit of surfing around looking for fatuous cupcake-related bits and bobs on the internet important research in the e-field.

Sometimes I come up with some new and exciting sprinkles, sometimes I get shouted at for not working hard enough, and sometimes I come up with something else... Here's a find that falls into the something else category. Kristen Lepore is a freelance illustrator and animator, and here's an almost unbearably nice little piece she did about the adventures of a cupcake. It takes a bit of time, and the high quality version would be my recommendation, but take a look...

Jigglypuff cupcakes

Here's some special Jigglypuff cupcakes we did for Sean's fiancé. For those that don't know, Jigglypuff evolves from Igglybuff when Igglybuff has a high happiness level, and into Wigglytuff when exposed to a Moon Stone. I think that clears that up...

Competition winner - January!

Morning everyone. I didn't want to keep any of you waiting, so it gives me great pleasure to announce that the winner of last month's Name the Cupcake competition is Samantha, who suggested 'Crumb all ye faithful'. Well done Samantha - not only do you gain the reverence and admiration of your friends and family, but also a box of 24 mini cupcakes and a mini stand to put 'em on! We'll be in touch to let you know how to get your hands on the prize. Thanks to everyone else who entered, and as always there's now a new cake up for your naming pleasure, so don't be too downhearted if you didn't win this time. Just click over to the main site and send us your entry!

Happy naming everyone!

Dolly mix wedding

Here's some of the wedding cupcakes we did for Lucie, who was out to bankrupt my Dolly Mix sprinkle stocks with an all-Dolly all the time theme. I didn't sweat it though - there's more than enough to go round and the cakes looked awesome!

Fairytale pink wedding

Here's a couple of snaps of the wedding tower we did for Rebecca. I don't know why I called it a fairytale tower, to be honest. There wasn't so much as a nymph in sight. Sounds nice though...

Congratulations Rebecca!

Here's some casino party cupcakes we did for Susie...

Christmas catch-up...

Hey hey! Guess what? I found my camera lead, so my little blog is back to its full, um, glory... Anyway, because of the slight technical difficulty I'm guessing most of your Christmas trees will have been whisked away to the great pinetum in the sky, but here's a very quick look back at some cupcake-related Christmas stuff...

I'm sure you're all sick to death of the sight of our Christmas Cupcakes, but here are some slightly different ones we did for the good folks over at Warner Brothers. Very coordinated.

And (again) thanks to everyone who popped along to the market just before Christmas to say hi and grab some festive cupcakes. Here's a few pics of the stall for those that couldn't make it...

Flavour of the Month - January

Hi all. Feeling a little bloated after the seasonal indulgence? What better way to detox than with some of this month's Flavour of the Month - Green Tea Cupcakes! The subtle taste of real Sencha green tea (all the way from Shizuoka in Japan) makes for a cupcake so deliciously light and fragrant they're practically good for you! Or at least psychologically good for you...

Our Green Tea cupcakes will be available to order all through January, and we'll be selling them every Saturday at our stall on the Kings Road.

We're back!

Hi everyone. Hope you all had wonderful Christmasseses, and that 2009's working out great for you so far. Sorry for the lack of postings over the festive period. I had a bit of a run-in with the Christmas tree and have been taking it easy for the start of the '09. The C&D ovens are back to full power now though. Jemma and the girls are covered in icing sugar (as per usual) and Sam's bashing out emails while surreptitiously tuning into the Adam & Joe Podcast. He calls it multi-tasking but I'm not so sure. Anyway, we'll be back at the Kings Road market on Duke of York Square this Saturday, so do pop along and say hi if you're in the area. Huge thanks to everyone who dropped by for our Christmas market special just before Christmas by the way - I'll try and get some pics up once I've found the lead for my camera.

In the meantime take it easy, and I'll leave you with a couple of nice colourful pics of Yiskah's wedding cupcakes from just before Christmas...
