Competition winner - July!

Hi all. Congratulations are in order for Catherine, who's gone and scooped last month's Name the Cupcake competition with her suggestion Amazing Fraise. A box of 2 dozen delicious mini cupcakes (plus a cool little stand) will be on their way to Catherine real soon.

Thanks as ever to everyone who entered - there'll be a new cupcake up for naming from tonight (or tomorrow morning, depending on how long it takes Sam to remember where he left his camera).

Giant cupcake!

Thanks to everyone who popped down to Covent Garden last Thursday to check out the giant cupcake. That thing was awesome! C&D market supremo Phoebe was on hand to do the ceremonial cutting thing, and several hundred hungry punters were on hand to do the eating free cake thing...

Giant cupcake in Covent Garden!

Woah. Anyone in or around Covent Garden tomorrow is advised to be on the look-out for the mother of all cupcakes, which will apparently be squatting nonchalantly in the Real Food Market on the East Piazza just waiting for people to dive in.

The giant cupcake will be unveiled to a hungry audience at 1pm and you can find more details about it here.

We'll also be at the market of course, so if the giant cupcake whets your appetite rather than crushes it be sure to drop by the stall to pick up a cupcake and say hi!

Hi all. Really sorry for the sporadic (that does mean non-existant, doesn't it?) posting over the last week or so... The guys are moving kitchens and as you might expect there's a huge amount of work for a thrusting young sprinkle executive such as myself to be getting on with. Cataloguing, project managing, conferencing, moving cardboard boxes around. Well, mostly moving cardboard boxes really, but I'm hopeful that they might let me do a bit of project managing soon.

Anywho, let's get back to the cupcakes - here's some great Noddy-themed ones we did for James' birthday.

Flavour of the Month - July!

Hi all. Sorry for the delayed announcement - this month's FotM is... St Clement's! A knock-out combination of a heady orange-infused sponge with a zesty orange and lemon icing. All made with organic orange and lemon juice and zest of course. You can find more details over on the main site and the zingy little fellows will be available every Thursday and Saturday from the markets, as well as to order in the usual way.

4th July Picnic on Saturday!

Hi all. Just a very quick note to let those of you who are interested know that we'll be selling our cupcakes as part of the 4th July festivities at the Democrats Abroad 4th July Picnic. It's on Portman Square Garden and the whole thing kicks off at the thoroughly civilised time of 3pm.

For those of you not able to make it along we'll also have a great selection of 4th July cupcakes at our Kings Road stall, open from 10am tomorrow.
