When our pals at Streetcar realised they'd missed a couple of important office birthdays they were on the phone quicksmart with one simple request - "we need a giant cupcake, and it has to be really pink". No problemo guys - happy Birthdays!

Here's a very regal-looking tower of peach and champagne-coloured cupcakes we did for Kelly...Lovely carpet-matching going on there with the decorations; I love it when cupcakes fit right in with the room.

Cocktail cupcakes this weekend!

This Bank Holiday weekend we thought we'd do something a bit special, so we've combined - mad scientist style - two of our favourite things in the world: cupcakes and cocktails, to produce a selection of awesomely good cocktail-inspired flavours:

• Whisky Sour
• White Russian
• Mojito
• Strawberry Daiquiri
• Margarita
• Moscow Mule

All made with the best stuff around and all available to order in selection boxes for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

You can also come along and try one or two (or buy a box) from either of our two weekly market stalls - Covent Garden (Thurs from 11am) and Kings Road (Sat from 10am).

Hi all. If you've been out and about on London's tube network you might have noticed a new Streetcar ad featuring yours truly (well, not me personally - there were image rights issues - but Jemma and Sally are in it) and our cupcakes.

Flavour of the Month - Strawberries & Cream

Hi gang. Just a quickie to let you know about August's Flavour of the Month, Strawberries & Cream! Strawberry is one of our most-requested flavours and these fruity little chaps don't disappoint - packed with real fruit and topped with creamy buttercream with a hint of vanilla, then finished with a strawberry swirl (that's real British strawbs at work again there) they're perfect for the English summertime.

Strawberries & Cream cupcakes will be available at our Kings Road and Covent Garden stalls from tomorrow, and of course you can include them as part of any bespoke order.

An unusual wedding

Here's a quick glimpse of Cameron and John's wedding cupcakes... "We met with some other cake companies," they opined, "but the proposal we got back could well have been for someone else." Well, that wasn't likely to be a problem with us, and when the guys started waxing lyrical about their family tartan and Doctor Who obsession we sprung into action. Some time later - Doctor Who Tartan wedding cupcakes! Not likely to trouble the pages of White Weddings Weekly, but perfect for Cameron and John, who were suitably chuffed.

Competition winner - July!

Big congrats to Elliott, who won last month's Name the Cupcake competition with his entry, Caddysnack! Well done to everyone else who entered, especially the handful of co-Caddysnack entries - there was more than one so we picked Elliott's name at random, but the others will be receiving a little cupcake-related something from us as a consolation prize.
