Here's a selection of cupcakes we did for our pals over at Prodo to match their brand colours. Super! But, er, no, um, sprinkles? Well, I guess the customer's always right (sniff).
Thanks Gingerella! The lack of sprinkles caused a bit of friction in the kitchen between, er, me and everyone else but I think they did actually turn out pretty cool (don't tell anyone I said that though!).
You should really give classes on how to ice cupcakes so beautifully!! Armed with my piping bag I can do no wrong but give me a palette knife and everything starts to go wrong!! I say a true testament to how great your cupcakes are is the fact they look amazing even when naked (i.e no sprinkles at all!)
Change is a good thing Ken.
ReplyDeleteI actually quite like them too, especially the way you've arranged them. They look like a patchwork quilt, an edible one, yum!

ReplyDeleteAw - thanks Gem. There isn't really a secret, just practice. Lots and lots and lots of practice! You can always eat any that go awry though...
