Summer in Battersea Square this weekend!

Those of you lucky enough to be around Battersea Square (aka SW London's best-kept secret round these parts) might like to know that this Saturday is the Summer in the Square family day out. My (imaginary) pal Nigella Lawson will be hosting the opening ceremony in the Square at 11:15am and from there it promises to be a veritable melee of fun-filled activities, including but not limited to jugglers and stilt walkers; dancers from the Royal Academy of Dance; The Gentlemen of St John's, a world renowned close harmony group; music groups from local schools; a Balkan gypsy band,; a steel band; the winner of the Transport for London Busking Competition; face painting; a pets corner and a dog grooming salon.

There'll also be a wide variety of stalls, including one selling our cupcakes.

Do pop along if you're near by... and for those further afield don't forget that the Covent Garden and Kings Road stalls will also be open as usual.

Have a sweet weekend everyone!
