Hi all. Seems like our giant cupcakes haven't been getting much love here on my little blog - to be honest it can be a bit tricky to photograph these behemoths in the wild so I usually stick to the more manageable cupcakes when I'm snapping away in the kitchen. Anyway, let's start putting things right with a few pics of some of last week's giant cupcakes - here we have the vanilla rose, red velvet and vanilla varieties.
As a fairly recent addition to the C&D line-up our concern was that giant cupcakes can sometimes look a little 'messy', but I think we're pretty much cracked it thanks to a combination of smooth, crisp lines, soft, pillowy buttercream and careful application of sprinkles. They really are giant (8"+) and each one serves 12-14 people or so depending on how hungry you are your cake cutting skills, and (plug coming up...) they're available to order in the usual way!
